Family lore says my first word was “book.”
My name is Grace Kennedy and I am an author and journalist located in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. I graduated from the University of King’s College in Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Journalism Combined Honours with the History of Science and Technology.
I am a long-time community journalist, with words appearing in the Fraser Valley Current, the Agassiz-Harrison Observer, the North Delta Reporter, and the Cloverdale Reporter. (Some of those words win awards.) I am currently working on my first book for children, Canada’s Endangered Animals, set to be published by Nimbus Publishing in Spring 2026.
