Written as flood waters were pouring into Sumas Prairie, this article looks at the history of Sumas Lake and what could happen if the Barrowtown Pump Station failed. It was a joint effort between the whole Fraser Valley Current team. It won the Jack Webster Award for Best Feature/Enterprise Reporting for a print or online publication.
