It turns out we’ll all have to wait just a little bit longer to see Canada’s Endangered Animals in print.

Although the book is set to be printed for May 12, the printer won’t be ready to ship the boxes of books until at least June 5. For those of us who can do the math in our heads, that’s six days after the book launch was scheduled to take place.

Since it’s hard to launch a book without any physical copies, I’ve elected to move the launch to Sunday, June 28. Everything else will remain the same: same time (1pm), same place (Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve – 5200 Sumas Prairie Rd, Chilliwack), same snacks, and same fun animal facts.

By that time, the books will have (hopefully) made their way out of the printer, into Nimbus Publishing’s warehouse, through the mail, and arrived safely at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve for purchase.

For those of you who have saved the date, feel free to grab your white-out or eraser and move things over a few weeks. I hope to see you there on Sunday, June 28.

(And if you do end up there on May 30 by accident, enjoy a nice walk around the wetland!)
